Application Process
Eligibility Criteria
- Children or youth with physical, intellectual, or emotional differences who face financial hardships.
- Reside in our community areas.
- Registered Charities or non-profit organizations that align with our mission to provide meaningful assistance to children or youth.
Application Submission
- All applications must be mailed directly to our Foundation’s address listed below.
- Include a letter that clearly explains the reason for the grant request and provides a brief overview of the child’s situation, including the diagnosis and how the funding will benefit the child.
- Include a concise description of the child’s medical or special needs diagnosis, highlighting the urgency or necessity of the funding.
- Specify the timeline for the needed funds, including deadlines for treatments, therapy, or purchases that the funding will cover.
- Clearly state the amount of funding requested, and if relevant, break down the costs that make up this total.
- Submit medical documentation from the child’s physician or specialist to confirm the diagnosis and explain the necessary funds for the child’s treatment or care.
- Provide a brief overview of the family’s situation, including any financial challenges or extenuating circumstances that make the grant necessary.
- Provide clear contact information for follow-up communication, including a phone number and email address.
Review Process
- Each application is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis.
- Our review process is thorough and considers the unique circumstances of each application.
- The review board evaluates applications based on alignment with the Foundation’s mission, ensuring that every project contributes to our shared goals and values.
Decision and Notification
- Upon receipt of your application, you will receive an acknowledgment and be informed about the review timeline.
- After the Review Committee’s meeting, all applicants will receive notification of the application outcome.
- Approved funds for successful applicants will be sent directly to the organization or service provider rather than to the family.
Grantees are kindly requested to submit a progress report within six months of receiving the grant, detailing how the funds have been used and the impact achieved.
